On Friday, March 11 at 3 p.m. we have a special presentation:

With over 22 years in the Green Industry, Noelle Clark Akin has instructed and assisted gardeners all over Northeast Ohio through her work in Petitti Garden Centers’ retail stores. Outside speaking engagements, filling in for Angelo Petitti in his absence on his WEWS Channel 5 television segments and weekly WTAM radio show and educating gardeners on YouTube has made Noelle an expert in her field.

In 1996, Noelle received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Environmental Science from Wittenberg University. From college, she pursued her dream of working with plants by joining Petitti Garden Centers as the perennial department manager for the Oakwood Village store.

In 1999, Noelle left Petitti’s to assume the Supervisor of Horticulture position at Sea World/Six Flags Ohio. In 2002, Noelle returned to Petitti Garden Centers as director of communications and education. Her responsibilities include the development and instruction of adult and children gardening classes, seminars, hands-on activities, as well as training Petitti Garden Centers’ associates at all nine retail locations.

She is continually researching, creating and composing Petitti’s plant tags, website content, gardening guides, and other educational materials to be used in print and on social media, reaching more than 100,000 Petitti customers on a weekly basis.

See Noelle’s informative presentation at the Stark County Home & Garden Show, enjoy four beautiful landscape displays, and speak with tradesman, remodelers, suppliers and experts in every aspect of home design, decoration, repair and remodeling.
