Lifting foam expands up to 7 feet in either direction filling the ‘void’ that exists under the slab. This void has made a bridge out of the concrete. Cracked or sinking concrete is an indication that the bridge is no longer holding and needs more support. Unlike the mud jacking technique and mixture, lifting foam is a permanent fix as it is impervious to contraction. As water evaporates from the mud jacking mixture, the concrete slabs again will sink or crack. Concrete Lifting foam is made from polyurethane and hardens within 10 minutes of the application. It is a finite product that will not shift or shrink or erode.
