Wood Mirror Makeover – Artsy Chicks Rule®

Conveniently reworked wood mirror makeover with quite floral decor transfers!

I hope you experienced an incredible weekend! We experienced a wedding in the loved ones. Appreciate spouse and children time…and weddings!
Today I’m sharing a different a single from this haul for our Trash to Treasure goodies. Never fail to remember to scroll down and see my friends’ makeovers far too!

The wooden mirror below…

Only 2 more from this haul and it’s time for some far more procuring. I’m looking ahead to undertaking all those nesting tables! Nonetheless have no clue yet but it’ll appear to me. ha!

Here’s how it started…

I started by sanding the wood just lightly (it experienced a sheen), then cleansing it well with TSP Substitute cleaner.
Then I taped up the mirror to paint the wood.

I utilised one particular of my favourite whites…Victorian Lace.

I did about 3 coats to get total coverage on this one particular.

At the time that was dry, I pulled out this pretty new transfer (it is in my shop!) to increase to each corner.

I decided to allow it overlap onto the mirror and around the sides.

I made use of my new transfer resource to transfer it. I really like employing it improved than the wooden adhere that will come in the package. (these are in my store as well)

A minor topcoat action and carried out! The transferred part on the mirror is not sealed with the prime coat. I resolved to not even attempt that. The transfer should be good to go as lengthy as it’s not sprayed and rubbed challenging with cleaner. You can simply cleanse around it!
