The Patchwork Initiative aims to mend the gaps in clothing sustainability

The Patchwork is a pupil-led outfits sustainability collaborative spearheaded by the SoGES College student Sustainability Middle (SSC), the Department of Design and style and Merchandising (DM) and the Avenir Museum of Style and Merchandising at CSU, with grant assistance from the President’s Sustainability Commission.

Created with the ambitions of lowering clothes intake and growing a lifestyle of clothes restoration, the task was created off the foundations laid by the SSC’s earlier director, Sara VanHatten, and Style and design and Merchandising associate professor Sonali Diddi.

Now, present SSC Director and The Patchwork Initiative member Sam Moccia is hoping to sew the initiative forever into the fabric of CSU and the neighborhood, with a group of multiple distinguished and passionate design and style learners at the helm.
