Lazy Susan Makeover – Artsy Chicks Rule®

This thrift store discover was not my model. A very simple correct wth a new graphic on this lazy susan makeover job!

Hello there mates! And joyful Friday!! Yay for the weekend. 🙂

I’m sharing one particular additional from my new haul…only just one still left! I’ll be sharing that one on Tuesday with my “Trash to Treasure” friends then I can commence on this future bunch of goodies I shared before this week.

But prior to we get all enthusiastic about all those pretties, let’s revisit what I’ve gotten done so considerably with this just one.

Currently I’m sharing the lazy susan makeover.

I started off out by removing the turntable on the bottom and then sanding the top.
I imagined I experienced taken a photo of that but I cannot see to uncover one. ??
But I sanded it down to the bare wood considering I’d adjust the coloration. Then I sanded the sides.
Properly, that darn stain didn’t want to budge from the sides and I’d experienced plenty of! haha

So I switched gears and made a decision to just stain it again dim. Very well, not as dim as it was but related.
I applied just one coat of the Cappuccino stain and allow it sit for many days.

Here’s the goods I utilized:

I established this style and design to put on the lazy susan.

But for some explanation, I was acquiring a bear of a time trying to get those people compact letters to reduce correctly. It could possibly have been the font I utilised, who is familiar with.
So I switched gears all over again! lol

And just did this one…

I pulled out the vinyl lettering to create a stencil with the vinyl. Then I hooked up the transfer tape so I could transfer it to the lazy susan.

At the time the vinyl stencil was transferred to the lazy susan, I removed the transfer tape.

I taped up the sides so as not to get paint on the wooden when I rolled the stencil with paint.

I painted various coats, drying in involving.

Then thoroughly removed the vinyl.

I utilized 2 coats of Matte Hard Coat (joined previously mentioned) and after dry, reattached the lazy susan hardware to the base.

And performed!

Considerably extra to my liking, type-clever.
