Jersey Shore condo to Beach Townhouse Update

Good day strangers!  Here I am to distinct out the cobwebs of this dusty corner of the interwebs to carry you an update.  Last fall we moved out of our beach apartment and moved down the street into a seashore townhouse. (Im however pretty considerably dwelling in Brooklyn and I will by no means go away NYC so no problems there!) It is really not really a appropriate “Seashore Property” but obtaining ever so a lot nearer to residing my Nancy Meyers / Diane Keaton Anything Has Acquired to Give dreams – at least on the weekends and in New Jersey.  Ok maybe it really is far more Snooki than Diane Keaton but allow me have my fantansies!

While we constantly prepared on generating some (ok, a whole lot of) changes, we assumed we could wait a 12 months or two to deal with these.  It failed to take very long to realize these ideas have been likely out the window and specific issues had to change quickly.  One point direct to yet another, yada, yada, yada…and we were being in entire renovation manner.

Thanks to covid and source chain and tons of other very little bitty issues that add up, we have been functioning on the world’s slowest renovation ever.  Thankfully we are at any time so bit by bit finding towards the finish line of our first projects and I am excited to share all those with you.  

Now you are all caught up.  For people of you who observe me on instagram or tiktok you by now know all this so thanks for examining.  For those people of you are nevertheless blog site only readers, I hope you still don’t forget me.

We have finished 2 bathroom renovations and are pretty much finished with the kitchen area.  But all those need a lot more backstory.  So let us shut out modern publish with a hyperlapse video clip of the Mr. & I in our pajamas generating our patio into a modest out of doors dwelling area (though our indoor living area is torn to shreds!).

Not going to lie. Im truly delighted with how this turned out even with it currently being just a random selection of pieces I observed at huge box retailers. It definitely requires this little patio from lifeless outside area to outdoor dwelling place.
