[ad_1]

ANN ARBOR, MI — Unsure what to do with your closet spring cleaning? Briarwood Mall may have the answer.

Briarwood Mall, 100 Briarwood Circle in Ann Arbor, will be hosting a clothing drive on Earth Day in partnership with Dress for Success, a women-focused nonprofit organization aimed at providing professional attire and supporting women on their path toward self-sufficiency.

The drive is specifically looking for clothing appropriate for job interviews, such as suits, pants, skirts, blouses and blazers, as well as modern jewelry and handbags, professional shoes, unopened makeup and beauty products and unwanted gift cards. Clothing and accessories should show minimal signs of wear.

Items can be donated in the Macy’s Wing of Briarwood Mall from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 22.

Clothing items not accepted include heavy coats and bulky fabrics, denim clothing, leather clothing and items with visible signs of wear. Donors will receive a reusable shopping bag while supplies last.

Briarwood’s clothing drive is part of the mall’s larger Earth Week celebrations, running from April 17 through April 23. Other celebrations include partnering with Give Back Box and information on sustainability efforts from the mall’s stores.
